Driver App — Push Notifications & the Action Button

Enabling push notifications
Open your profile
From the bottom bar of the driver app, open the Profile tab. You'll find the Notifications 🔔 card between the theme card and the actions list.
Card not showing?
The card only appears on devices that support web push (Android Chrome and similar). If it never appears, your phone/browser doesn't support app push.
Tap «تفعيل» (Enable)
The browser will ask for notification permission — tap Allow. Allowing is required; dismissing the prompt blocks notifications on this device.
Success check: the card's status becomes «مفعّلة — ستصلك تنبيهات الرحلات» (On — trip alerts will reach you).
Try a real notification
When a supervisor or operations manager updates one of your trips (acceptance, checklist, Bayan al-Naql, approval…), a notification appears on your phone's screen even with the app closed. Tapping it opens that exact trip.
Success check: the notification deep-links to the specific trip screen, not just the home page.
Seeing «محجوبة من إعدادات المتصفح» (blocked)?
You previously denied permission. Open the browser (or Android app) settings, allow notifications for «app.wintracksa.com», then tap enable again.
Notifications are enabled per device — enabling on one phone doesn't enable another, and you can disable anytime from the same card. There is also a general mobile-notification toggle in the driver notifications screen; switching it off silences pushes even when the profile card is on.
The home-screen action button
The action button on the trip card (e.g. «فحص قبل التحميل» or the weight-station arrival) sometimes failed to respond. The root causes are fixed:
- The home screen refreshes automatically as soon as you return to the app — no need to close and reopen it.
- Tapping the button shows a spinner immediately, even before the GPS fix, so it never feels dead.
- If the stage is waiting on the other party (e.g. supervisor approval), a clear waiting card appears with Refresh and Open trip buttons instead of an empty screen.
Success check: after each stage transition, the home button reflects the current stage without restarting the app.
The current trip in the trips tab
In the Trips tab your active trip is highlighted with a ring and a «الرحلة الحالية» (current trip) badge — with several trips on screen you always know which one is live, and opening it takes you straight to the next stage's button.
