Lesson: Batch dispatch — send several trips from one screen

A step-by-step walkthrough — open the batch dispatch dialog from the route page, add a row per driver and vehicle, and send up to 50 trips in one request with a clear per-row result.

In this lesson you dispatch several trips on the same route from a single screen instead of repeating the dispatch wizard per driver. Every row goes through the exact same validation and asset-claim pipeline as a single dispatch — the only difference is that they are bundled into one request.

Before you start

You need the dispatch permission, a route with an active manager-approved contract, and free drivers and vehicles (not claimed by a live trip). Busy drivers show disabled in the pickers.

Open the route page

From Routes, pick the route. Next to the «Send next trip» button you will find the «Batch dispatch» button.

Add a row per trip

In the dialog pick the driver and vehicle from the dropdown (it lists the driver, plate, trailer when present, and tags shared assets), and type the planned quantity. «Add row» appends another row — up to 50 trips per request.

Send and watch the results

Press «Send N trips». Rows are processed one by one and each gets its own outcome: successful rows carry their trip number (click one to open the trip), failed rows show the full error message (e.g. «driver is booked on another trip») — failed rows never affect the successful ones.

Nothing is lost

Batch dispatch is not one transaction: some rows succeeding while others fail is normal. Press «Send another batch» to retry the failed rows after resolving the cause.
