Financial Guide
How WinTrack computes trip cost, revenue and profit — and the data you must enter to get accurate financial reports.
WinTrack splits the profit equation in two: revenue is computed automatically from trip data (actual weight × unit price), while costs combine what the system derives on its own (fuel purchases, maintenance, violations) with data you enter once (depreciation inputs, driver salary packages, indirect overheads).
The golden rule
Every field you leave empty means a cost shows as zero in reports — it does not mean the cost doesn't exist, only that the system doesn't know it yet.
